Editorial Policy
This policy explains how we research, write and update B2B Review guides, so you can judge how much weight to give what you read.

Our editorial goals
We aim to help Indian businesses make better decisions about B2B marketplaces, JD Mart, Justdial, suppliers and lead generation. Every guide should answer a real question directly, explain how the platform or process works, show the evidence, and give practical next steps. We would rather publish fewer pages that genuinely help than many that repeat what is available elsewhere.
Source selection
We use primary sources wherever they exist, in this order of preference:
- Official platform websites, help centres, FAQs, terms and app-store listings.
- Company disclosures such as annual reports, results releases and stock-exchange filings, and government or regulatory sources such as the GST portal, MCA and GeM.
- Reputable independent reporting and analyst coverage.
- Attributable public feedback such as app-store reviews, read for patterns rather than as proof.
- Other sources with a clear method, used with a caveat.
Third-party figures that a platform has not confirmed, such as prices on blogs, are labelled "Third-party, unconfirmed" and never used alone to support a key conclusion. Each page lists its sources with a type label and the date we checked them.
Fact-checking
Each factual claim is checked against its linked source before publication. Changing information (pricing, plans, lead allocations, fees, packages, support procedures and company figures) is dated, and the research date appears on comparison tables and source lists. Where a source could not be retrieved directly, the source list says so. When companies publish new results, we update the figures we quote and the dates beside them.
Fact, analysis and uncertainty
We distinguish three kinds of statement:
- Facts from sources, which are linked inline.
- Our analysis and recommendations, written clearly as our view, such as which platform to test first for a given type of seller.
- Information gaps, marked with a "Check before you rely on this" note so readers know to confirm with the platform.
Worked examples that use made-up numbers are labelled as hypothetical or illustrative.
Positive coverage and balance
We focus on JD Mart and Justdial and describe their strengths in detail, including escrow, quote comparison, catalogue tools, reach and the financial strength of their parent company, wherever the evidence supports it. We also keep practical cautions that protect readers, such as checking a supplier's GST registration or reading escrow cancellation terms, because leaving those out would put readers' money at risk. We aim to be helpful, accurate and fair at the same time.
What we do not publish
- Testimonials, user experiences, survey results, ratings or review counts we have not genuinely collected.
- Prices, market share or platform statistics without a source.
- Claims of first-hand testing that did not happen.
- Scores or rankings without a reproducible method.
- Fake or incentivised reviews of any business.
Commercial relationships
Any commercial relationship between B2B Review and a platform it covers, such as sponsorship, advertising, affiliate links or consulting, is disclosed clearly on every affected page and in this policy. B2B Review and its sister site JD Review share an editor; links between the two sites are editorial, placed where the other site covers a topic in more depth.
Updates and corrections
We review platform facts periodically and update the "facts last reviewed" date only when a page has actually been re-checked. Errors are corrected under our corrections policy. Significant corrections are noted on the affected page.
Structured data, search and AI
Structured data on this site describes only what is visible on each page: articles, authors, breadcrumbs and FAQs that appear on the page with matching text. We do not mark up reviews or ratings we do not have. We write pages so that their main answers are clear and well sourced for readers, search engines and AI assistants alike, but we make no claim that any search engine or AI system prefers or cites this site.
Author responsibility
Every guide carries the author's name, a link to the author page and LinkedIn profile, the publication date, and the date facts were last reviewed. The author is responsible for the accuracy of each page and for responding to correction requests.
